Shipping
Pacific Resources uses FedEx Ground as a shipper. All products are professionally packaged for safe delivery. Orders normally ship out within 1-3 business days. In the rare event, that one or more items should arrive broken or damaged while in transit, or if a package is lost, the damaged product(s) will be replaced. Damaged products will be replaced only after FedEx Ground has inspected your package, or after a FedEx Ground tracer was unsuccessful and claim forms have been submitted to them for processing. Please note, once your package has left our premises, the order cannot cancelled.
Delivery Method
FedEx Ground is allowed to leave packages at the front door, porch or gate without a signature. If the customer is not at home to receive the package, and the driver considers the neighbourhood to be "safe" he/she may leave the package. Each driver knows their routes and have the authority to decide on a case-by-case basis if he/she will leave the package at your front door, porch, fence, or inside mailbox. Please note, when FedEx Ground does trust your neighbourhood and leaves a package at the customer’s font door per their instructions and the package is stolen, the customer cannot file a claim, saying that the package was never received. If this happens FedEx will MARK the customer’s address as "UN-SAFE" and they will NOT deliver any packages to that address without at signature. Please Note that after 3 delivery attempts, FedEx Ground will return the customers package to the sender. Once the returned package(s) is received from FedEx Ground, the customer will be contacted by phone and asked for a physical address (usually a work address) in order to re-deliver your package. The customer will be charged for the second delivery attempt. Thank you for your understanding.
FedEx Ground attempts 3 Deliveries before returning your package to the sender. If a FedEx Ground driver decides NOT to leave a package at your front door or in front of an apartment, due to security or safety reasons or if the owner has a known vicious dog they WILL stick a Note on your door, informing you that they attempted to deliver the package. FedEx Ground will attempt to deliver the package the next business day (weekends and holidays not included). If the driver is unable to deliver the package on the second attempt the FedEx Ground driver will leave a second sticker note on the door and FedEx Ground will return one more time to try to deliver the package. If the 3rd delivery attempt also fails, FedEx Ground is required to return the package to the sender Pacific Resources International. When the package is received from FedEx Ground after 3 attempted deliveries, the customer will be contacted by phone and asked if they have a different delivery address. This can be a work address or any other address of a friend, relative or neighbour where someone will be available to accept the package. FedEx Ground does not re-ship for free, thus the customer will be charged again for the second shipping attempt. When the order is placed, please supply an address that is trusted and where there will be someone home to accept the package. If you work 7 days a week please have the package shipped to a place of work and the receptionist can accept and sign the package for you. If you live in an apartment complex, the office can sign for you, please check with the office first before calling us. Thank You.
When will I receive my Order?
Standard FedEx Ground: 4-7 days. Orders shipped within the same state as warehouse can take as little as 1-2 business days.
How to report a claim when a product has been damaged in transit
If a package is exposed to an impact while in transit, a product could get damaged. What should you do?
1. Call Pacific Resources International at 1-800-871-8879, and report the damage immediately upon receipt. Please talk to a customer service representative and inform them of the damaged. FedEx Ground will be contacted and the claim process will be started.
2. Extremely Important! Keep the box and the damaged item for up to 6 business days. FedEx Ground reserves the right to inspect the damaged package even if it is completely destroyed. FedEx Ground has received too many false claims. If the box or product is thrown away and FedEx Ground requests an inspection for the damage claim reported, they will NOT replace the damaged item for you neither will Pacific Resources International. By throwing away crucial evidence of a damaged item, the customer has waived their right for a replacement. Do not throw away product unless advised to by Pacific Resources.
3. If FedEx Ground claims responsibility for the broken item, they will send claim forms within 10 business days. The forms will be filled out by Pacific Resources on your behalf. As soon as claim payment is received from FedEx Ground for the damaged item, the item will be re-shipped to the customer at no further expense.
4. Please be patient it can take up to 10 business days (weekends and holidays excluded) for the claim forms to be received, they will be filled out the and mailed or faxed back to FedEx Ground. Once FedEx Ground has received the claim forms, they will process and send payment if claim is qualified. As soon as payment is received from FedEx Ground, the item(s) will be re-shipped to the customer.
The customer is responsible for inspecting the shipment immediately upon receipt. Pacific Resources will not accept returns due to damage caused in transit, and will not replace any "missing items" not reported within 24 hours of receipt. Nor will Pacific Resources take action regarding any other imperfection of the order encountered, after the 3rd day of traceable arrival time. As soon as the package has been delivered, the customer has ownership of the package. It is crucial that the customer inspects their package upon traceable receipt within 3 days.
Returns
Returns must be made within 7 days of receipt; Pacific Resources will exchange or refund any damaged item upon production of a valid receipt. Pacific Resources will not offer refunds or exchanges on any products that have been opened, used, or where the original packaging has been changed or altered in any way.
Carefully select your products at the time of ordering. Items will not be exchanged for the following reasons: ‘change of mind’, 'don’t’ like taste', 'don't like label', 'don't like color' or 'don't like consistency of honey'.
If the customer finds that they are allergic to a specific product when trying any one of the them, the item may be exchanged or refunded within 15 days of purchase. The customer is responsible for the shipping charges to return the un-opened items to Pacific Resources for an exchange or refund. Absolutely no exchange or refund after 30 days of purchase for any reason.
